Parlay is a skill based prediction game that involves real risk. This disclaimer highlights some, but not all, of the risks of using the Service. Read it carefully and do not participate with funds you cannot afford to lose. By using Parlay you acknowledge and accept these risks.

1. You can lose your entire stake

Forecasting is uncertain. When staking is live, if your prediction is wrong you can lose the full amount you staked. There is no guarantee of winning, of recovering your stake, or of any return. Past results, leaderboards, and probabilities do not predict future outcomes.

2. Not investment advice

Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice or a recommendation to take any action. Markets, odds, charts, and figures are informational only. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and should consult a qualified professional.

3. The token is a utility, not an investment

$PARLAY is used to play and is offered with no promise or expectation of profit, yield, or appreciation. It is not a security, share, or deposit. Its value, if any, may be highly volatile and may fall to zero. Do not acquire it expecting financial gain.

4. Volatility and liquidity

Crypto assets and tokens can move sharply and without warning. Liquidity may be limited, and you may be unable to enter or exit positions at the price or time you want.

5. Smart contract and technical risk

The Service relies on smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure that may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or undergo exploits, even after auditing. Transactions are irreversible. Network congestion, outages, gas costs, failed transactions, and front running can affect your activity. Use the Service only if you understand these risks.

6. Resolution and oracle risk

Markets resolve using designated rules and data sources or oracles, which may be delayed, inaccurate, manipulated, or unavailable. A market may be voided or resolved in a way you disagree with. We do not guarantee the timing or correctness of any resolution.

7. Regulatory risk

Laws and regulations covering prediction games, skill games, and tokens vary by jurisdiction and are evolving. The Service may become unavailable to you, or change materially, as a result of legal or regulatory developments. You are responsible for ensuring your participation is lawful where you are.

8. Availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available, uninterrupted, or free of error. Features, markets, and rewards shown in preview may change or be removed.

9. Taxes

You are responsible for determining and paying any taxes that apply to your activity. We do not provide tax reporting or advice.

10. Do your own research

Always do your own research and understand a market, its rules, and its risks before you participate. If you do not understand something, do not stake on it.
